Purmamarca and Salta

We arrived in Salta early in the morning and hired a car for the next few days.  We drove to Purmamarca about 2 hours away over the mountains.  The rock formations were amazing - this is the area of "seven coloured rocks" and when the sun was on them the result was stunning.  The people and also the food in this region were very different and very little English was spoken....we seemed to manage though!
